Where do you need to be in Italy?
Italy wasn’t always a destination for us. We travelled all over Europe and overseas. We flirted a bit with the typical. The Garda lake, Rome and Venice.. But since our first holiday to Umbria, we spent months – and thousands of kilometers – getting to know every little corner of this incredible country.
We didn’t just visit the famous landmarks; we lived the van life twice to feel the rhythm of Italian life. Those journeys taught us the nuances of the Italian landscape: the way the light changes as you drive south, the incredible regional diversity of the kitchen, and the legendary hospitality that greets you in every small-town piazza. Today, Italy is no longer a place we are searching through, but the place where we belong.
