Whether you are traveling from the Netherlands or Belgium, below you will find the best ways to reach us by air or by car.

Traveling by air

For those looking for the fastest route, several airports serve our region. Ryanair offers frequent and affordable flights to various nearby destinations.

Ancona Airport (AOI): Our personal favorite and the most convenient gateway to Le Marche. It is roughly a 1-hour drive from the airport to our homestead.
Pescara Airport (PSR): Located to the south in Abruzzo, this is an excellent alternative and is also about an hour’s drive away.
Perugia Airport (PEG): Located in Umbria, this airport is a bit further away (about 2 to 2.5 hours) but offers a scenic drive across the Sibillini mountains.
Bologna Airport (BLQ): A major international hub with many more flight options. From Bologna, it is a straightforward 2.5 to 3-hour drive down the Adriatic coast.

Traveling by car

Driving from the Netherlands or Belgium offers the freedom to explore and carry back a few boxes of wine or olive oil later on!

Via France: This route is ideal if you prefer the French motorways and traveling through the Mont Blanc or Fréjus tunnel. We highly recommend a stop in La Morra in the Piedmont region for an overnight stay. It is a stunning area famous for its wines and hilltop views, perfect for breaking up the long journey.
Via Germany & Austria: The best choice for those coming from the Eastern Netherlands or Brussels, traveling through the Brenner Pass. Consider an overnight stay in the Dolomites. The dramatic mountain scenery provides a refreshing contrast to the rolling hills of Le Marche you will encounter later.

The last kilometers

You can decide to follow the Adriatic coast via the A14 highway or the SS16 Adriatica.

Once you are driving along the Adriatic coast via the A14 highway, look for the exits for Pedaso or Grottammare.

From Pedaso: Follow the SS16 Adriatica towards Cupra Marittima. Just before you reach Cupra, follow the sign on your right towards Ripatransone and drive about 5 minutes inland before you reach a sign on your left side towards Ripatransone. Here you’ll start driving uphill. You will reach us just before you enter the main village of “Ripa”.
From Grottammare: When you leave the A14 highway, you will immediately find yourself signs to Ripatransone. Simply follow the winding roads up hill. Just after you pass the village, you will find an exit on your right towards Cupra Marittima. You will find us at a 2-minute drive from there on.

From Grottamare, you can also decide to drive towards Cupra Marittima and take the side on your left just after Cupra. Here, you drive about 5 minutes inland before you reach a sign on your left side towards Ripatransone. (This is the same route as described in the ‘From Pedaso’ description.) Here you’ll start driving uphill. You will reach us just before you enter the main village of “Ripa”.
