Perched on a cliff overlooking the Adriatic Sea, Torre di Palme is a picture-perfect borgo that instantly captures your heart. It’s less than a 20-minutes drive from Ripatransone and undoubtedly one of the best hilltop villages to visit along the Adriatic coast. You’ll find Torre di Palme directly above Marina Palmense, Santa Maria A Mare and Porto San Giorgio. It’s an ideal stop when you leave the E55 toll way towards Fermo.
The best way to reach Torre di Palme is by car. When you arrive in the village, don’t get demotivated by stop signs or full parking. Although this might not be the prettiest part of the village, most of the time there is plenty of parking space when you drive down from the main parking.

Torre di Palme has one main street that runs to its magnificent balcony overlooking the villages down along the Adriatic coast. Here at its main street, you’ll find a dozen restaurants and lively terraces for aperitivo.
Strolling through mainstreet, you immediately notice how colorful and artistic the village is. Here, it’s impossible for anyone to not stop at its hotspot Caffè Gelateria Le Logge. The owner of Caffè Gelateria Le Logge has transformed the cobblestone streets and connecting alleys into a charming maze of small, hidden seating corners. It is the perfect place to sit back with an Aperol Spritz or cool down with a fresh gelato. (If you get ice cream, make sure to order the limone for the ultimate refreshing treat!)
You can visit Torre di Palme in both 30 minutes or a full day. We typically spend a few hours here. Whatever you do, make sure to walk up to the end of main street. Here, you will have your well-deserved overview over the Italian coast.
